Winterborne Valley Croquet Club

Established in 1987 at Kingston Maurward, our club has a proud history of bringing people together through the enjoyment of croquet. In 2019, we moved to our new home at Winterborne Stickland Sports and Social Club, where we enjoy two beautifully formed, full-size croquet lawns.

We welcome players of all abilities and offer both Association Croquet and Golf Croquet, providing a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the game, develop your skills, and meet fellow enthusiasts in a friendly and sociable environment.

Our lawns are open seven days a week during the summer season, from April to October, between 10 am and 8 pm, weather permitting. Members can conveniently reserve their playing times through our online lawn booking system, ensuring plenty of opportunities to get out on the lawns and enjoy a game.

We are proud to be affiliated with Croquet England and to be members of the South West Federation of Croquet Clubs, reflecting our commitment to promoting and enjoying the sport of croquet.
