Our croquet club was originally established at Kingston Maurward in 1987. In 2019 we moved to newly formed lawns at Winterborne Stickland Sports and Social Club. We have two full size lawns, play both Association and Golf Croquet, 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm during the summer months only.
We are a Croquet England Affiliated Club and a member of the South West Federation of Croquet Clubs
Our lawns are open every day from 10 am to 8 pm during the summer months (April to October), weather permitting. There is a lawn booking system that each member has access to.
Monday is reserved from 10 am until 4 pm for Golf Croquet Club Day – morning session 10am and afternoon session at 1pm. Members are welcome to stay for both sessions.
Tuesday morning is reserved for Association Croquet.
Saturday afternoon is Roll-Up from 1pm – just turn up and you are guaranteed a game. Play finishes when everyone goes home.
Match Days are blocked out on the lawn booking system.
At all other times, members are free to book a lawn on the lawn booking system.
VISITORS/TASTER SESSIONS
Members may book a lawn to give a prospective member a taster session or to bring guests up to play. There is a guest fee of £10 per person.
